Do you charge extra for Paper Goods

With Gourmet FoodWorks you always get all of the Paper Goods you need... at NO Extra Charge! We always try our best to help you out as much as we possibly can.

(That would be like selling shoes without shoe laces!) (“Excuse me, I’d like to buy a pair of shoes.” “Okay, but the shoe laces are 35¢ extra!”)

We use the highest quality paper goods we can find including knives, forks and serving utensils. Our Customers think our Serving Trays and Bowls are really good-looking (they’re a glossy black) and help make for a beautiful presentation. There’s one thing though that I’ve found while checking out our competitors that is truly amazing: some caterers actually charge their customers an additional fee for paper goods!

This just boggles the mind. Yes, we also have to pay our vendors for these things, too, but it’s doesn’t cost us all that much. And to add insult to injury, these caterers don’t even charge very much for it. To us this is just an outlandish display of how to “nickel & dime” the customer. How irritating must that be for their customers?? Fortunately though, it wouldn’t even enter our mind to do this petty type of thing, so you’ll be safe with us. In fact, not only do we Not charge you for paper goods, we add a few “extras” to your order just in case somebody drops a fork or you have an unexpected Guest show up for the meal. But if you wish to add extra setting depending on your order size we can always accommodate you for a small charge.

The only option you have to consider is our Ice Service. Because most Groups simply drink their Juice and Soda directly from the chilled containers they arrive in, there is no "need" for you to get our Ice Service. But if you would like to provide Cups and Ice for your Group just let us know ($4.90 for up to 20 Guests). By offering our Ice Service in this way (á la Carte) we can offer you more flexibility and therefore allow you to maintain control of what you get!

On all special contracted events which include staffing and special rentals service fees of 18% will be charged as will the tax rate of 8.75% on all services and foods provided.
