Some Corporate Caterers put limits on what I can order

Many caterers have put limits on what you can get from them. They set up rules that force you to order the same side & dessert for all your Box Lunches. Or you have to order at least $100.00 worth of food. Or if you want a tray of Baked Goods for breakfast, then you also have to get Fruit, Juice & Coffee. If you’re following along you probably realize that all of these rules benefit them, NOT YOU. Yes, it’s definitely simpler for them if all of your Guests get the same side & dessert with their Box Lunch. Yes, they’ll be able to charge you more if they sell you Fruit, Juice & Coffee to go with the Baked Goods. Or how about the Corporate Caterer that you called last week that happily said “Yes” when asked to help you with a breakfast for fifty (50) Guests but tells you they can’t (won’t) bring you 2 Box Lunches tomorrow. (And yes, by the way, on more than one occasion we’ve actually delivered a single Box Lunch!)

We think these rules are for the birds! We think they’re insulting and unnecessary. The only time you'll find any minimums on our Menu is simply for the the sake of presentation. For example, we don't have a good way of keeping a single serving of Soup hot, or if we put, say, just three servings of Chicken Dijon in one of our aluminum serving pans, then it would look a little odd. So, if you want a Corporate Caterer that respects the fact that one of your Guests just has to have a Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwich (true story) then maybe you should try us out.

What we’re trying to do is build a relationship with you. We want to get to know you a little better so that we can help you a little more. We want you to get to know us a little better so that you’ll trust us and rely on us for whatever you need when it comes to Corporate Catering. We feel that if we really are trying to build a relationship with a Customer then it doesn’t make sense to say “Yes” to an order for 10 Guests today, but then say “No” to an order for 5 Guests tomorrow; from the same Customer. While it is true that we may not cover our costs when delivering just a couple of Box Lunches we think it’s important to offer you this service so that we can build upon our relationship.

Taking that relationship-building one step further, we strive to be your “Go To” caterer. The one you think of first and call most often. (Actually, we’d like to be your only caterer. J) So remember, you can call us for a single Box Lunch, Appetizers for 100 or a Classic Hot Breakfast for 1000. Just don’t call us to cater a wedding!
