Our Egg Strata is an easy way to add "something Hot" to your breakfast without making the commitment to a complete hot meal. (Not to mention that our Strata's are delicious!) Egg Strata's are similar to an egg casserole and can be the entire meal or simply the "center of attention" on your guests' plate along with Baked Goods, Fruit, etc. We make ours with lots of Bacon (browned and crisp), sautéed onions and red peppers. First, we take French bread sliced thick to layer the bottom of the pan and then pour the farm fresh eggs and cheddar cheese over the bread with a touch of heavy cream added for good measure. Next, we add the bacon and sautéed items, more cheese and bake it until fluffy and golden brown in the oven. *Served with salsa, green chilies and hot sauce on the side on request.*
